【overview】
1986. Does this number have a meaning for you? It is a special number for the five of us gathered here. That is because it is the year we were born. Although we are not childhood friends, we met while expressing ourselves and communicating with others, and decided to hold an exhibition together in Nara, a place with which we have a connection. Flower arrangement, Kana calligraphy, architecture, local cuisine, and sumi-e. Although each of us has chosen a different path, the theme of this exhibition is the consciousness that the five of us share, "the past and the future." In an era that changes every moment, how will our culture and expressions, or ourselves, exist in the modern world? The "buds" of thoughts that have swelled while facing such questions every day have gathered here. Please take a look and we hope that you will feel something that will bring about even a slight change in your "past and future."
